Our Philosophy

Children learn best by experiencing the world and its wonders first hand - by touching, tasting, smelling, seeing and hearing. With guidance and support from understanding adults, children gain knowledge and experience about their world.

Our Classrooms

Our classrooms are organized, yet comfortable and child focused. At Stony Creek we have found a way to balance structure and freedom. Children need structure and boundaries for security, but must have a good deal of freedom of choice and movement.

We offer specific activities designed to further develop and refine skills in language, art, music, listening, gross motor and fine motor ability, and increased awareness of self.
